Digital Content Director
Gabby is an East Texas native and Winona ISD graduate. Gabby graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with an emphasis on public relations and a minor in psychology from Texas State University. With the help of the Falconer Scholarship Program, she was the first in her family to complete a university degree. Gabby leads digital efforts at KLTV and KTRE. Before being promoted to digital content director, Gabby worked with her predecessor to refine KLTV’s social media strategy. Prior to joining Raycom Media, Gabby was employed at Power Public Relations. There, she worked on PR and social media strategy development and execution for small to mid-size businesses. Gabby was also the lead Spanish-language publicist for the Pollo Campero account. Gabby is passionate about social media and the future of digital content. In her spare time, Gabby can be found listening to podcasts, buying planners, on social media or sleeping. She’d like to say she can be found working out, but that’s more of an aspirational goal. The team I manage focuses on breaking news, but in the last year-and-a-half we have begun experimenting with niche apps. In addition to a news and weather app, we have an app for high school football, a cooking/recipe app and a newly launched Spanish-language news app.
