The McClatchy Video Lab

With more than 1,500 journalists across 30 properties, The McClatchy Video Lab is a roll-up-your-sleeves start-up that was launched in 2015 to help centralize video efforts across the company and conceive new ways of introducing audiences to our visual journalism. There are several facets of the Video Lab, from a Real-Time Desk of producers and a branded ad studio to a team of hacks trying to pioneer the future of video journalism. We’re all working towards to the same goal, which is to extend and supplement the award-winning journalism that our publications produce on a daily basis.
